Personal guide and accompaniment in Baku
You book a local person by the hour. They meet you, go where you want to go, speak for you, and handle the parts of Baku that are annoying when you do not live here.
On foot
$25 per hour
Best for the centre, the Old City, restaurants, bars and shopping.
With a car and a driver
$35 per hour
Best for long days, several districts, the airport, and anything outside the city.
Book as many hours as you need. Send the dates on WhatsApp and we confirm the total before you arrive.
Write on WhatsAppWhat accompaniment actually means
It is not a tour with a script. It is a person from Baku who is with you for the hours you booked and does whatever the day needs.
They speak for you
Taxi drivers, sellers, waiters, doormen, hotel staff. In Azerbaijani, so the conversation goes the normal way.
They know where things are
Which street, which entrance, which time. You are not standing on a corner with a map app.
They tell you the truth
Which place is good this month, which one is overpriced, which area is not worth your evening.
They do what you ask
Change the plan at noon, stay out later, skip a museum, go back to a shop. No arguments, no upselling.
Where we go with you

Shopping
Port Baku and the big malls for brands, Nizami street for walking and buying, the bazaar for spices, tea, caviar and dried fruit, and the carpet shops in the Old City. We ask prices in Azerbaijani and tell you when a number is a tourist number.
Restaurants
From a plov house locals eat at to a proper dinner with a view. We book the table, order in the local language, and make sure the bill is the bill.
Bars and clubs
Bars in the centre, rooftops, and the clubs people from Baku actually go to. Some of those are hard to walk into on your own. We are with you at the door and stay for the evening.
Sights
Icherisheher, the Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Fountain Square, the Boulevard, Flame Towers and the Heydar Aliyev Center. In whatever order suits you.
Airport meeting
We wait at arrivals with your name, take your bags, and drive you to the hotel. On the way out we pick you up with enough time for the terminal.
Hotel booking
Send your budget and the district you want. We book the room, confirm it to you, and you check in with everything already agreed.
Business and meetings
If you are here for work, the guide goes with you as a driver, translator and local contact for the day.
Anything else in the city
A barber, a pharmacy, a phone repair, a hospital, a specific shop somebody told you about. Ask and we take you.

Before you book
How many hours should I book?
Most people take three to five hours for an evening and a full day when they want the sights and shopping in one go. Tell us the plan and we will say what it realistically takes.
Can the guide take a group?
Yes. Say how many people you are and we tell you whether one guide is enough and which car fits.
Can we start at night?
Yes. Night hours are the same booking, just say the time you want to start.
Do you go outside Baku?
Yes, with the car. Gobustan, Absheron, Guba, Shamakhi and Gabala are all normal day trips from the city.
Tell us the day and we will fill it.
